Have you ever caught a glimpse of a pink dolphin? You may think it’s just a myth, but viewers in Louisiana were surprised to see Pinky, a rare pink dolphin, swimming in the waters there for over 10 years.

It is a well-known fact that dolphins have pink bellies, but it is extremely rare to see a dolphin with a completely pink body! The gender of Pinky has not been confirmed, but many believe that she is female based on her coloration.

Captain Erik Rue, who spotted the dolphin, said that the animal was completely pink, with red eyes and glossy skin.

In addition, a lady named Bridget Boudreaux stated that she witnessed two pink dolphins swimming in the same channel in 2017.
In the previous year, a Facebook page named Pinky The Dolphin uploaded a video of a mother and calf dolphin with pink skin swimming behind a ship, which was quite adorable. Check out the video below.
