Pictures of 2 silverback gorillas, Alf, 9, and Kesho, 13, joyfully reuniting at the Longleaf Safari Park in Wiltshire, England, spread rapidly across the globe.
The 2 gorilla siblings had been separated for over 2 years when the 13-year-old gorilla was relocated to the London Zoo to participate in a breeding program.
Nevertheless, Alf and Kesho, who were unable to successfully breed during their time apart, finally reunited after nearly 3 years! Moreover, according to Mark Tye, the zookeeper at Longleat, the two gorilla siblings are behaving as if they were never separated, displaying heartwarming affection towards each other.
