A senior alpaca, who had no friends, found a companion in a cow one day. The alpaca, Stevie, was already 17 years old, which is quite old for an alpaca. He used to live at a petting zoo and couldn’t get along with the other animals. So, he was brought to Happy Compromise Farm, which is an animal sanctuary.
Unfortunately, “Grandpa Stevie” didn’t fit in with the other alpacas because they had already formed groups, and he had not learned how to behave like an alpaca while living in the zoo. However, Stevie’s social life changed when he met a senior cow named Miriam.
The two senior animals have formed a strong bond and are now great companions. It seems that Stevie prefers the company of cows over alpacas, and he enjoys spending time with them, munching on hay and socializing. We are delighted that Stevie has finally found a place where he can feel at home and make friends.
