Puppy That Nobody Wanted Is Rescued And Is Now Fully Happy Taking Care Of A Baby

Satanley is a little dog who was saved by a miracle, thanks to the intervention of a rescuer who couldn’t bear the thought of this furry dog being euthanized.

Ready to be put to sleep in just a few hours, the fate of this dog took a surprising turn and that’s why we want to let you know his touching story.

The little dog is testimony that hope is the last thing to be lost.

In December, just two days before celebrating Christmas Eve, a canine was terrified and sad in a shelter with a high kill rate.

It turns out that boy was Stanley, a pit bull with a serious mange problem. His condition was so critical that it had prevented him from opening his eyes.

But this little dog ran into a rescuer who met him hours before he was to be put to sleep and decided to stop him.

This was Cathy Stanley of Camp Cocker Rescue who sought to prevent Stanley from receiving the lethal injection. She decided to help him, but the furry boy’s condition was truly compromising and the young woman didn’t know if she could handle him.

But someone had to save him.

Confused, she opted to make a video of the furry boy at the Los Angeles Sanctuary. She would care for him, but feared she wouldn’t do it the right way.

“I took him out and started on his medical recovery. I also did the full rendition of the videotape ‘Just One Canine.’

Then I started mailing it out like crazy, asking people to help me find a good release,” she explained.

The video went viral online and that’s when Dave Schofield of Respect-A-Bull, a foster-bred Terrier dog release on Vancouver Island, Canada, contacted Cathy.

Dave and his wife, Jo-Ann, saw the videotape and decided to help. They would take care of the puppy, so Cathy could begin arranging the adoption to completely rule out any possibility of euthanasia for Stanley.

The puppy had been saved, but now began a road to healing.

Dave facilitated Stanley’s transfer, they would take him in on a temporary basis to begin to heal the puppy. Later, though, his fate would be marked by the arms of another family.

Many people had seen Cathy’s video and were waiting for the furry dog to heal before applying for adoption.

However, the little dog found a home with people who took him in without knowing the story very well.

As it turned out, after nearly dying, Stanley now had many people interested in his care.

Cathy’s video had been completely worth it, but also her decision to get the puppy out of the place before he was euthanized.

After that, Dave’s intervention was enough to heal Stanley both physically and spiritually and he was ready to meet his new family.

The little dog came into the home of a couple, Josh and Teresa Caufield, who were touched by his personality.

Stanley is now part of a loving family and has become the protector of the couple’s youngest child, a baby just months old.

In short, the destiny of this little dog was not in the cages of that shelter where he was destined to extinguish his life and it is enough to see him to be sure of that.

In addition, Stanley’s story bore great fruit because, based on his case, Camp Cocker and Respect-A-Bull continue to work together to help save many dogs in need.

This is one more proof that things get better when you work together, and it’s great that these people found each other through Stanley.

We know that now more furry dogs will get better life opportunities in Canada, thanks to the agreement between both foundations. Congratulations for that and for saving Stanley.
