Twelve years ago a terrier was saved from the streets of New York and has been expressing his joy by SMILING. Brinks, the Pit Bull, has an extraordinary ability to smile just like a human. Jon Bozak, the owner, noticed this unique talent in the dog as soon as he first encountered him.
Jon said, “I believe I first realized that Brinks could smile on the day I rescued him. I put him in the car and he immediately hopped into the front seat and made himself comfortable.”
As soon as I saw him grinning at the world passing by my car, I couldn’t resist getting a second dog. It was the best decision I made.
Jon spent the following two months displaying thousands of “found dog” signs throughout the city, but he was unable to find the dog’s rightful owner. So, he made Brinks a permanent member of his family. Many years have passed, and Brinks is now showing his gratitude by smiling widely.
Jon, who is employed as a creative projects director, explains that Brinks is not like a clown, moving through life and grinning foolishly, but he has a constant smile-like expression on his face.
