The firefighters in the Chilean city of Iquique paid their respects to Negro, a black dog who served as their firehouse dog for a decade, after he passed away.
Sadly, Negro died on March 6, 2018, at the age of 14. He dedicated his life to assisting firefighters in rescuing individuals.

As a result, the firefighters held a special ceremony for Negro, who was given the rank of “honorary firefighter.”

The firefighters laid Negro to rest in a custom-made white casket and buried him in a nearby plot close to the fire station. They also planted a tree in his honor. Rest in peace, Negro. You deserved nothing less.
