Karoline Leavitt chastised Nicolle Wallace of MSNBC for remarks that connected a teenage cancer survivor to the unrest on January 6.
Donald Trump named 13-year-old Devarjaye “DJ” Daniel, who was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2018, an honorary Secret Service agent during his speech before Congress on Tuesday night.
But the president’s efforts were swiftly attacked as Wallace, 53, made a string of deplorable comments that turned the kind gesture into a negative.
The MSNBC anchor started off by saying, “I hope he lives the life he wants to live and that he lives for another 95 years.”Before turning to the tragic Capitol riot on January 6, 2021, she added, “He wants to be a cop, he knows what he wants to do, and maybe when you have childhood cancer that crystallizes for you.”
“I hope he lives a long life as a law enforcement officer, but I hope he never has to fend off Donald Trump’s supporters in the US Capitol, and if he does, I hope he isn’t one of the six people who die by suicide,” she said.
Wallace also expressed her hope that Daniel won’t have to “testify against the people who carried out acts of seditious conspiracy and then live to see Donald Trump pardon those people” during the discussion.
The White House Press Secretary was among those who swiftly condemned the MSNBC anchor’s offensive remark on the internet.
Leavitt, 27, claimed that Democratic legislators and members of the mainstream media “allowed their Trump Derangement Syndrome to stop them from celebrating America” during her news briefing on Wednesday.

The 27-year-old White House Press Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, attacked MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace after the presenter “disgustingly” connected a youngster with cancer to the horrific Capitol brawl on January 6.

It is still not understood by the mainstream media. A 13-year-old boy with brain cancer was horribly included in an attack on the president over January 6 by MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace last night, according to Leavitt.
The White House representative then took aim at CNN, pointing out that the cable network referred to the president’s speech as “divisive” on national television.
“President Trump did not cause division.” According to a post-speech poll, 69 percent of viewers stated they had a positive reaction to the President’s speech, proving CNN was incorrect and the Democrats were wrong, Leavitt added.
Shortly after, she displayed a printed copy of a CBS News/YouGov survey that said 76 percent of Americans “approved” of the address. She says the president gave her the poll.
Wallace made a comeback to the air on Wednesday, but she declined to respond to mounting calls for her termination.
Despite the severe criticism she received, an unrepentant Wallace persisted in criticizing President Trump during her program.
The 53-year-old anchor was not the only MSNBC personality, though, to express disapproval of the president’s speech.
The 51-year-old Rachel Maddow called Trump’s honoring Daniel “disgusting,” while Joe Scarborough, co-host of “Morning Joe,” claimed the address was filled with “so much nonsense” on Wednesday morning.

Following his appointment as an honorary member of the US Secret Service by President Donald Trump on March 4, 13-year-old cancer survivor Devarjaye “DJ” Daniel is encouraged by his father.

After making the deplorable comments about the teen having brain cancer, the disgraced presenter returned to the air on Wednesday, refusing to answer the mounting calls for her dismissal.

For the record, and this is abhorrent, the president made a show of congratulating a young man who had so far escaped childhood cancer, as though he was involved, she added.
Viewers are out for blood, despite the fact that neither Wallace nor the network have issued any kind of statement over her offensive comments.
“Nicole Wallace is fired by @MSNBC!!!!!,” “Nicolle Wallace is one twisted and hateful demon,” one person said, while another added. She ought to be removed from MSNBC.
Another person said, “Nicolle Wallace, this chick on MSNBC, needs to be fired for saying she hopes a 13-year-old cancer patient doesn’t kill himself.” “Like, what the hell?”
Someone another remarked, “I call on the firing of Nicolle Wallace.” At least dozens of people, the most of whom lean right, agreed.
One such person commented, “This is the most disgusting thing I’ve ever heard someone say,” and then added, “Leave the kids alone!”
The 13-year-old, who is battling an incurable uncommon brain and spine cancer, had undergone 13 surgeries by the time he was 12 years old.

As he and his family work to increase awareness of his disease, he is attempting to get sworn into as many police enforcement departments as he can.
He was informed that he would probably only have five months left to live after he was diagnosed in 2018.
As Republicans in the House gallery yelled his nickname, “DJ,” the cancer-stricken boy was held up by his father for the heartwarming Tuesday night moment as he received his badge from Director Sean Curran.
“Being a police officer has always been his dream,” Trump stated. However, DJ was given a brain cancer diagnosis in 2018.
A youngster with brain cancer is named an honorary Secret Service agent by Trump.
He had a maximum of five months to live, according to the physicians. More than six years have passed since then. DJ and his father have been working to fulfill his ambition ever since.
“And we’re going to give you the greatest honor of all tonight, DJ.”
About 15,000 children in the US are diagnosed with childhood cancer each year, making it a rare disease.
Although the number of pediatric cancer cases has increased recently, the disease’s fatality rate has decreased as a result of better treatment options.
“We want to keep our kids healthy and strong, remove toxins from our environment, and remove poisons from our food supply,” he stated.
