Hope For Paws was informed about a pit bull that was deserted at a shipping yard and had to survive on his own. The staff at the yard began to feed him daily, and as a result, they developed a unique connection with him. Alex and Katie came to the site with food, speaking the dog’s language of love.
Mack was a friendly dog who cooperated with the rescuers and followed them to the vehicle. The team scanned him for a microchip, but none was found. Consequently, they took him to CARES for an examination and a bath. During the checkup, it was revealed that Mack had an enlarged prostate, which could be cured by neutering him, vaccinating him, and providing him with a safe environment to recover in. Now, this gentle giant won’t have to be concerned about being abandoned again!
