Visitors flock to zoos for the unique opportunity to observe animals up close, but it is crucial to adhere to the rules to ensure the well-being of the animals.
Regrettably, a group of visitors at Vinpearl Safari in Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam, disregarded the “do not feed the animals” sign and recklessly tossed food at an orangutan, causing the creature to find itself in distress in the water! Fortunately, a vigilant zookeeper was in close proximity and swiftly intervened to rescue the endangered orangutan’s life.
The animal made desperate attempts to reach the food that had accidentally fallen into the water, but its efforts were in vain!
Had the zookeeper not acted swiftly, the primate could have succumbed to the water, on the verge of drowning. The zookeeper promptly initiated CPR in an endeavor to rescue the animal, and their efforts proved successful!
Thanks to the hero staff member, who was able to save the ape’s life with his quick thinking. Watch the video below.
