The police department in Quevedo, Ecuador, noticed a sloth attempting to cross a fast-moving expressway. It was evident that the sloth had given up on reaching the other side, as it was holding onto a metal pole and refusing to budge.
The officers of the traffic department brought the sloth to a veterinary clinic, where it was determined that the animal was in good health. Afterward, the sloth was returned to the forest adjacent to the highway.
The officers captured some photos of the sloth and shared them on Facebook. The pictures were so cute! Check out the video clip below.
