Narrates the tale of Buddy, an adorable canine who was intentionally burned and endured serious injuries. Buddy was immediately transported to Mississippi State University for medical attention, where he stayed for approximately seven months. After that, he was relocated to a foster home to carry on with his recovery.
Due to the delicate nature of the skin grafts on his face, Buddy usually dons an e-collar for his own safety. Additionally, he has a one-inch wide spot between his eyes that is taking a while to heal, so it requires a bandage for protection.
Since Buddy’s story became viral, he has been receiving exceptional care from the veterinarians at Mississippi State, and he has been making continuous advancements.
Fortunately, Buddy’s bandages were eventually taken off, and he seems much more content now. The Tunica Humane Society said that he is currently residing in a foster home, and they aspire to find him a permanent home. You can watch the video below.
