Saratoga Stud is a horse farm located in South Africa that was established by Jenni due to her love for horses and desire to provide them with proper care. Her aim was to ensure that horses in the region receive the necessary attention and care, and potentially find homes where they could roam freely. Recently, one of her mares gave birth to an unexpected and beautiful surprise.
Jenni and Guy spent a long night tending to Daisy as she went into labor. Since the mare was overdue by a week, Jenni knew it could be a lengthy delivery.
After arriving at the stable, Jenni and Guy were greeted with the sight of a beautiful colt as Daisy gave birth. Although Daisy had been quite large during her pregnancy, Jenni was taken aback by how small the colt was. However, the newborn horse appeared to be healthy and content, so Jenni focused on taking care of the mother and her new foal.
While Jenni was tending to the newborn, her dogs noticed something was amiss. After examining Daisy, Jenni realized that the mare was about to deliver another foal!
She could see the foal’s feet emerging from the birth canal, but it was in the breech position. Daisy lay down to make the delivery easier on her body, but she was also focused on her first colt.
Daisy delivered a lovely baby girl who was named Duet. The horses spend most of their time together as they roam the pasture, graze, and drink water.
