17 bears, who were kept in confinement at Black Forest Bear Park in Georgia, without access to food and were observed begging visitors for food, were eventually rescued.
The female bears, who were used for breeding purposes, were denied the opportunity to raise their cubs, as the cubs were separated from them shortly after birth.
Sam Simpson, in collaboration with PETA and the Atlanta Humane Society, successfully transported the bears to The Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keenesburg, Colorado, after rescuing them.
Thankfully, the bears now have access to fresh vegetables and fruits, and the freedom to forage and roam in a 60-acre space after being kept in chains for years! It must be an amazing feeling for them. Watch the video below and share this heartwarming story with your family and friends.
